This tab provides detailed data about the force and pressure calculations performed for the selected string and load, as well as numerous intermediate and related calculations.
The radio buttons above the table give the well designer some options regarding which depths are displayed.
The table is sorted by Measured Depth. Both Measured and True Vertical Depth are displayed. The values calculated in the table can be viewed, plotted, cut & pasted or exported as in a report. To plot a column, click on the checkbox under its header; multiple columns having the same units can be plotted together.
Of special interest are the columns displaying Allowable Wall Loss. These columns show the calculations for burst, collapse, and triaxial failure modes for the given loading condition. Additionally, the minimum of the three is shown to give the estimated allowable wear for the string for the given load. It is important to note that the triaxial mode will be present in both burst and collapse loads.
The Net Collapse Load column reports Po - Pi, unless the old API yield strength adjustment for collapse is in use (that is, if "File > Preferences > Use June 1018 API Collapse Calculation" is unchecked). In that case, Net Collapse Load displays Po - Pi * (1 - 2 * wallThickness / OD). This geometric collapse adjustment is never used in the BSEE WCD loads, nor at depths where a completion tool is present.
The column Yield Strength Temp Derated reports the yield strength derated only for temperature. Yield strength derated for tension and temperature is reported in the column Yield Strength Tension Derated, and yield strength derated for tension, temperature, and Remaining Body Wall is reported in the column Collapse Strength Derated.
